Nurturing the Nursing Profession Scholarships (NNPS) was founded in 2011 by Tara Lancione . During the years she worked as an oncology nurse, she was profoundly affected by the courage of the many patients she served, leading her to form NNPS. Tara and the NNPS board believe that well-educated nurses are essential to meeting increasingly complex health care needs.   NNPS is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization.
